Pixi Lash and Line Love - Pixi Mascara and Pixi Eyeliner Guide

Pixi Lash Line Ink, Pixi Extra Eye Bright Liner, Pixi Eye Define Waterline, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen, Pixi Large Lash Mascara, Pixi Lash Primer
It's safe to say Pixi are at the top of their game when it comes to Lash and Liner Products. Today I wanted to share with you and give you a rundown on a few of their most loved eye products. So here's everything you need to know about Pixi's Lash and Liner Line...
LINER
Wheather you're a winged liner fan or you love a pop of colour on the eyes, Pixi has got you covered with their wonderful selection of eyeliners to enhance, shape and brighten the windows to the soul.
PIXI LASH LINE INK £12
The Lash Line Ink comes in two shades, Black Silk and Velvet Cocoa. Use this finely pointed felt tip liner to create the ultimate lash flick or dot between the root of the lashes to enhance the lash line and add definition. Lash Line is long-wearing, paraben free and smudge-proof.

Shop Lash Line at the following online retailers Pixi Online, Look Fantastic* and HQ Hair*.
PIXI EYE DEFINE WATERLINE £12 & PIXI EXTRA EYE BRIGHT LINER £12
These are the perfect pairing for tight lining, defining and brightening the eyes. Both are waterproof and have a fine tip so that you can line the upper and lower waterline with ease.

The Pixi Eye Define Waterline comes in black only and can be used on the upper rim of the eye to create the illusion of longer lashes or to define the lower rim if you want a more dramatic look.

The Pixi Extra Eye Bright Liner comes in Nude and Extra Bright (pictured above). This is a great one for making the eyes look brighter and more awake. It can be used in the lower waterline and inner corners of the eyes.

Both Liners are available from Pixi Online, Look Fantastic* and Marks and Spencer*.
From Left to Right Velvet Violet, Matte Mulberry, Rose Glow and Cobalt Blue
PIXI ENDLESS SILKY EYE PEN £6 - £12
This versatile and long-wearing gel eye pencil comes in a whopping 22 very wearable shades. The Silky Eye Pen is budge-proof, smudge-proof and waterproof. Use any of the pencils to line the lash line, add brightness to the inner and outer corners or enhance the eyes with a pop of colour on the lower lash line. I love using Matte Mulberry and Cobalt Blue in the water-line to enhance my green eyes and smudging Rose Glow onto the lower lash line if I'm going out at night.

Here's a rundown of each shade name,
1. Black Noir
2. Matte Nude
3. Rose Glow
4. Icy Citrine
5. Jewelled Pewter
6. Black Blue
7. Black Cocoa

MASCARA - We all have a specific specification when it comes to mascara, but you can be re-assured that Pixi has a well thought out selection of lash products that can help you achieve lash goals in no time at all!
Pixi Black Lacquer Lash Primer £15
The Pixi Lash Primer to me is like a magic wand that helps you to achieve the ultimate long lashes! This multi-functional primer can be used alone for a more subtle lash look or team it with your favourite mascara for the sky's the limit lashes! I actually love using this as a sandwich product in between my normal mascara as I find it really helps to lengthen and separate the lashes perfectly.

Pixi Lash Primer can be purchased from Pixi Online, Cult Beauty* and Marks and Spencer*.
PIXI LARGE LASH MASCARA £14
Large Lash Mascara comes in two shades, Best Brown and Bold Black shown above. This mascara as the name suggests, helps you achieve large, lengthened and volumized lashes thanks to it's full bristled brush and thick non-clumping formula. It's also buildable, water resistant, fragrance and paraben free.

I especially love this mascara teamed with the Lash Primer for the ultimate full lash look.

Large Lash Mascara is available from Pixi Online, Look Fantastic* and Cult Beauty*.

Glossier Body Hero Oil Wash Review and Glossier Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream Review

Glossier Body Hero Review
Last year Glossier* launched Body Hero* consisting of the Body Hero Daily Oil Wash and the Body Hero Perfecting Cream. Glossier is all about individuaity, glowing skin and you, and Body Hero is inspired by just that - it's skincare but for the body. So here's everything you need to know about this Hero duo...
Price
The Body Hero Daily Oil* retails for £15 for 250ml of product and the Body Hero Perfecting Cream* retails for £18 for 250ml. You can also purchase the pair together here* for £28 saving £5 which also qualifies you for free delivery too!
Packaging
I think Glossier have it down to a T when it comes to packaging and the body hero duo is no exception. The shower oil comes with a convenient pump and the body lotion is housed in a hygienic tube.
Application
Body Hero Oil Wash - The body oil is blended with 7 beautiful oils including, Grapeseed, Orange Blossom Neroli Blend and Coconut to name but a few. You can find the full list of ingredients here*. It's also paraben, soap and cruelty-free, as well as vegan, hypoallergenic, gynaecologist and dermatologist tested.

I particularly love this kind of oil to milk formula because they are wonderfully efficient and moisturising at the same time. Oil body washes also don't lather up like a conventional shower gel would, but don't be put off as an oil formula is much more conditioning, nourishing and kind to the skin overall compared to a regular shower gel or foam.

Upon application, the oil wash turns from a silky oil into a moisturising milk and honestly it's such a pleasure to use each morning as it feels so luxurious and moisturising on the body, plus it smells oh so divine like it's a spa day every day!

I find two pumps is sufficient for the whole body.
Body Hero Lotion - The lotion also has a fantastic mix of ingredients including the Orange Blossom Neroli Blend, Prickly Pear Extract and Cactus Flower Extract to moisturise as well as Light-Reflecting Particles to give you a beautiful subtle glow. As per the Oil Wash, this is also cruelty and paraben free, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.

Upon application the consistency is much like a thick butter, that doesn't feel oily or sticky whatsoever. The lotion for me felt super smooth to the touch and sunk into the skin more or less straight away. This also compliments the shower oil so beautifully with the same Orange Blossom Neroli scent.

Afterwards, my skin felt super hydrated and I could notice a beautiful subtle pink sheen and a tiny bit of sparkle that glistened in the sunlight. I say subtle as it is exactly that. I could only really notice it when my skin was in bright and direct sunlight.

Overall the more I've used this pair over time the more I've noticed how soft my skin has become, which is always a bonus!
Longevity
The beautiful scent doesn't last all day, however, I definitely recommend layering the Body Oil, Body Cream and even the Glossier You Perfume* which I have reviewed here, for maximum longevity.

Both products have a 12-month shelf life.
Overall Thoughts
I'm in love! The Body Hero duo for me is everything that Glossier stands for, glowy skin, simplicity and performance. As you guys know I have reviewed a few Glossier products now which you can check out here and for me, Glossier are very sure of who they are as a brand and who their customer is and stands for. You can tell that every product they release is well thought out, tested and priced right and everything is always simple, easy to use and suited to anyone and everyone.

The Body Hero duo is a wonderful addition to the Glossier line but if I had to choose I would say the Daily Oil Wash is definitely my favourite, however, I do like how both the cream and oil work well together as a perfect pairing. Price wise I would take the plunge and save yourself £5 and the delivery charge with the duo so that you can really experience their body line as a whole.

So if you love kind to the skin body products that smell divine and help your skin stay hydrated, glowy and soft then this could be the duo for you!

I award the Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash a 4.8 out of 5 and the Glossier Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream a 4.7 out of 5.

Skincare in your 30s - My Morning and Evening Skincare Routine 2018

30s Skincare Routine
Now as you guys may well know I've become a bit of a skincare fanatic over the past couple of months! So today I wanted to share with you the best skincare products for your 30's that I'm using currently in my morning and evening skincare routine...
MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE
1. CLEANSER: Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser* - For mornings I keep it pretty basic and start by cleansing with my favourite Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser that you can read more about here. All I do is massage the product onto dry skin, wet my fingers to turn the cleanser into a milk, then to finish I use a damp flannel to wipe off the excess.

2. TONE: Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist - Next it's onto toning... Personally, I love using a spray toner as it's just quick and easy. And let me tell you this one from Superdrug is EVERYTHING! It's so affordable and hydrating.

Also if you're in need of an extra boost of hydration and you have the time, I recommend doing a double spritz, trust me... thank me later.

3. EYE CREAM: Una Brennon Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Dark Circles Eye Cream - Ok I have to admit I never used to use an eye cream, it was more of a once in a blue moon thing I think maybe because there never seem to be any decent and affordable options to choose from. But now I can't live without one, especially now I'm 35, so naturally this Una Brennon Vitamin C one is perfect as it feels very lightweight and hydrating around the eye area.

4. MOISTURISE: Glossier Priming Moisturiser* - For moisturiser you guys know as I just reviewed this here, that the Glossier Priming Moisturiser is my go to as it's lightweight, buildable and hydrating.

5. SPF: Australian Gold Tinted Botanical Face Sunscreen SPF50* - My final and most important step (and this should be yours too) is an SPF. I do not leave the house without applying one, in fact, most days I end up applying it twice, once when I leave for the gym in the morning as I walk. Then I apply it again when I go to do my skincare routine after I've got back from the gym and showered. I'm currently loving this tinted one from Australian Gold as it's also perfect for no makeup days.

6. LIP BALM: EOS Wild Berry Lip Balm* - Last but not least I just like to add a bit of lip balm to moisturise my lips.
EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE - There is definitely a few more steps to my evening skincare routine as this is where I get serious about my skincare and really take and make the time to give my skin a well-deserved pampering.

1. MAKEUP REMOVER: Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm* - First things first, removing that makeup... Up until now I have been a solid fan of a micellar water and don't get me wrong I still am, but just lately I've been reaching for the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. This cleanser melts away makeup like a dream! Discover more about this cleanser and why I love it here.

2. CREAM CLEANSER: ALDI Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser - Next I go in with my favourite cream cleanser from Aldi, you guys already know how much I love this, it's honestly one of the best affordable cream cleansers I've used to date.

Additionally, I use another amazing find from Lidl in the form of the SilverCrest Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush. My husband actually got me this for Christmas and honestly, it's become a game changer within my skincare routine! It has four settings but personally, I love setting two for deep cleaning my face with the cream cleanser. All I do is wet the brush and use it in circular motions on my face and then I use long strokes up my neck towards my chin. If I ever find this again you guys will be the first to know so you can get your hands on one too!

3. EXFOLIATE: Pixi Glow Tonic* - Next it's time to exfoliate with my favourite glycolic products. I actually currently switch between two, the Pixi Glow Tonic and the ALDI Lacura Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads.  (The Pixi Glow Tonic was very kindly sent to me, but as always all opinions are my own.)

4. ESSENCE: Superdrug B Refreshed Essence Lotion - After I've exfoliated it's time to put back the moisture into my skin with this Essence I found in Superdrug. This is actually a new step I've incorporated into my routine to give my skin that extra hydration boost.

5. TONE: As Above -Afterwards I go in with my favourite toner I spoke about above.

6. EYE CREAM: Aldi Lacura Midnight Power Eye Cream - For eye cream, I've been enjoying using the Midnight Power Eye Cream from Aldi as it's hydrating and it has a lovely lightweight gel texture.
7. SERUM: The Ordinary 0.2% Retinol in Squalane* - Next it's onto serums and again I'm currently switching between my favourite 0.2% Retinol from The Ordinary which you can read all about here and the Pixi Rose Caviar Essence* which I have a post on here. The Retinol I use 2-3 times a week and then the rest of the week I use the Pixi Rose Essence.
(The Pixi Rose Caviar Essence was kindly sent to me but as always all opinions are my own)

8. MOISTURISE: Aldi Caviar Night Cream - Finally for Moisturiser I've been obsessed with this Aldi Caviar Night Cream. I'm currently testing this out for an up and coming post but so far so good.

9. LIP BALM & SPOT TREATMENT: Aldi Miracle Cream - To finish I just moisturise my lips with a little Aldi Miracle Cream which I spoke about in my Aldi Dupes post here. I also use this on any blemishes and spots however I do find The Ordinary Salicylic Acid* works wonders if you have any unwanted pimples under the skin. Find out more about this product here.

And that is it, I do hope you found this helpful in some way whether your in your 30's or not. I'm still on a skincare journey discovering new ways to use my skincare and testing out new products in general, so keep a look out for lots of fresh skincare content coming to the PPB Blog and YouTube Channel soon...
